The Locust That Moves On, by Where The World Ends Subscribe to rss feed for Where The World Ends

Once upon a time
Common sense dictated
That the sky was blue

The sun shone high
Setting air abright
Perhaps the soul
But not the cells

The stars inspired
Uncountably present
Whilst the birds
Settled down

Begin again

Once upon a time
What was wrong could wait
Once upon a time
We ignored fate

Once upon a time
The vampires were left to hide
Waiting for the hangover
To subside

Once upon a time
Oh life was so great
And now we’re left
To compensate
For a time that,
Childlike, couldn’t relate
