A Broken Man, by Terry
|
My life was complete,
Now it is shattered.
It's broken shards lie in piles at my feet.
The remains of a man, who once thought he had everything;
A family,
A home,
A sense of self worth.
Now all that remain are his tears and his memories;
A haunted shadow of his former self.
No end to the anguish;
No end to the suffering.
From happiness to sadness in the blink of an eye;
The beat of a heart.

Turn unto God, and he shall restore thee; Give unto God, and he shall bless thee; Gather with God, and he will fill thee.
My prayer for a broken man! |
