Quietus (Death)

Death is near I know as it smells so sweet,
At last the day is near when I with her will meet;
With great beauty and grace she will come,
And thereafter I will be forever mum.

So pretty peace is that feeling of being dead,
Just like in my mother's lap rests my head,
Complete is night's sleep with last stretching and yawning
So that fresh and light I wake up tomorrow morning.

Why are you abused though so very generous
You free the fastened souls from brutal life's shackles
You must not ever be cursed; you deserve praises high
I doubt if one will cry when death itself will die!!!

Death ,come ! I embrace you with all my desire,
You wean me off life's habit and declare me expire
News read lovely girl died breaking many hearts!!!
And no more she is now to break any heart.....

                                              Mrs.Seema
