A little bit hazy, a little bit sad, by student Subscribe to rss feed for student

There's a deafening sound in my ears
and everything becomes a blur.
It seems that I can't walk straight,
and my words begin to slur.
I've never known ecstasy until
this moments come.
And all I can do is stand here
and wait as I become undone.

The drugs begin to kick in
and I can't feel myself.
And it's okay, you know,
because before, nothing's ever helped.
The release is so sweet,
and I feel so numb.
I somehow feel like I'm dying,
and for the first time, not afraid to succumb.
