The Story So Far, by Cindy
Summer is ending
But nothing feels cold
I have her love wrapped around me
And a story that must be told.
We met in July on a very hot day
And sat by the water where she smiled at me
She spoke so softly with her gentle lips
And that's when I knew we were meant to be.
She captivated me like a bee to a flower
When she told me she loved me like no other
The look in her eyes tell me so
And my heart fell into a flutter.
This is a story that shall never have an end
As long as she never leaves
The fire in my heart is hot and ablaze
But even passion can make a woman grieve.
