Water From Below, by Convalescence Subscribe to rss feed for Convalescence

I sail a sinking ship. A ship with many holes. I wander
cross the ocean in a ship no longer whole.

Constant do my shipmates bail water from below, but we are
slowly sinking... Oh little do they know.

Hard workers-unobservant, and we slowly lower down into the
dark unknown until perhaps we drown.

Still they keep on working-oh so proud of this-their home.
And still they keep on trusting in their captains words
alone.

Ignorance is bliss they say as they slowly learn the cost.
Truth comes out too late as all hands are lost.

*written for those who follow blindly.
