Herds of humans,
lost in a storeroom,
of unwanted clutter,
they have bought over years.

Flocks of wild socks,
run amuck underfoot,
each single and outcast,
unravelling and free.

Larger than life size,
Immeasurable wastage,
consumer consumption,
comes lazily home to roost,
