Sweet Dreams, by Sonja Carnes Subscribe to rss feed for Sonja Carnes

This is a moment my nightmare stops
In my sleeping mind I'm stranded on the
Tree tops
Water was below, and nowhere to go
Wake me up let me see the light of day
When I stop this nightmare, Sweet Dreams
Are on the way...
They say, "Come what come may."
If that's so does the nightmare stays?
With my sanity, my debt I pay..
In the darkest hour, I awake, I find a
My heart is on the mend, I walk the
Road to the end..
Sweet Dreams, are just pretend..
Don't forget this is the real world
A reflection of toil and trouble....
Now I need a dream that's fair
On the double...
So this is the way it goes, some day,
Those Sweet Dreams are sure to flow..
