Shadow Memories Of Ancient Egypt
I open my eyes to the morning blue
Still seeing shadowy visions of you
You flit across my waking hours
Who gives you all those special powers?

Methinks you should have staid behind
Instead you dwell in the cavern of my mind
For a fleeting moment I'm with you there
In a land of marble, statues, the sun is a glare

Then just as swiftly I return
To my time here where I must learn
The veil is too thin 'tween your time and mine
Too easy to cross each others time line

We met each other on another plane
And saw each other again and again
It matters not if we're tied to husband or wife
That just pertains to our 3D life

I live in the future. You live in the past
Nevertheless our love will last
We will keep meeting on a higher plane
'Til we can be together forever again.
