Tears Aflame, by ZeTz_Darke Subscribe to rss feed for ZeTz_Darke

Like porcelain she broke into a thousand pieces
in descent...
A thousand pieces scattered throughout the world.
And we had never seen a thing...
So peculiar...
Like the waves crashing down on angel wings...
Still smoking from an atmospheric touch

Dust flows through the waterways...
For five years thousands had drinking water...
overflowed with angel dust...
And we had never seen a thing...
So absolutely mind boggling...
As a town, once nearly nameless, chalk full of
residents...
Over one hundred years old...
Gifted with almost supernatural good luck.

For a moment the lungs fill up with fire...
For a moment the senses are equipped with things...
That no earthly being, wise with knowledge would desire...
We sit back in the audience to wait and see...
Wait and see what a day as mysterious as tomorrow...
Might rain down on our unsuspecting dreams...
Would she evaporate with time and leave us with nothing...
But fowl luck and our almost crushing...
Mortality.

Follow the light with your eyes...
Falling stars alight the sky like flaming tears...
And you will never see...
A thing so beautiful again...
As a world that is still equipped with the
ability to offer beauty...
After this night...
This shower of stars shall end.
And there is naught but darkness.
