Another is Gone, by Cutie In A Death Cab Subscribe to rss feed for Cutie In A Death Cab

There was another accident.
I shouldn't have been surprised.
Seems like every other month,
another someone dies.

My sister called me bawling.
Her friend is gone for good.
Shadows linger everywhere.
I'd change it if I could.

I hear whispers in the grocery store.
I know what they're about.
Everyone in town,
wears a solemn pout.

Too many young eyes,
have become so old from tears.
Death has seemed to haunt us,
these past few years.

I'm sure I'm not the only one,
who askes God every night,
why he pulled another soul
from us into his light.
