heaven`s view, by BLuE TrEeS Subscribe to rss feed for BLuE TrEeS

The city lay before the night,
serene,placid upon the stars sight.
Strangely below the earth rested,
In the hours of darkness the capital nested.

Beyond the horizon lay towers of scenic vision,
hills, acreage ``n the skyline or residence,
the dim odour as if a unscented fragerance.

The valley of nightfall stood proud,
as if it were soverieighn ruler of the night.
Residence upon residence became prey,
prey as a predators reward.
No man could have power over such a dark view.

But could ones eyes see,
A Boldness within the city,
defending its beauty.
Such a divine view to see.

As dawn breaks,
sunlight escapes,
Bringing life to the city.
To be crowned queen.
The glinting gleam of the sun upon the city.
The heavens above dissapear,
The rightful view of the world.

Colour is brought to life,
fields become lush green,
A multi coloured world lays beyond the city,
Is there any other sight that is so flawless?
