Bullied

Remember all those times you sat and cried?
Remember all those times you hid the bruises from your mum?
Remember all those times I cornered you;
And told you not to tell?

Remember all those times when you were nothing?
Remember all those times everybody hated you?
Remember all those times rumors were spread about you;
And everyone laughed?

Remember all those times when I told on you;
For bullying me?
When I was bullying you?
Remember the time when the tables turned?

Remember the time you sat up in your room;
And wrote a letter to me?
Remember that time when the pills were in your hand;
And I was just a distant memory?

I saw you the other day;
All alone again.
Crying in the corner;
Begging me to stop.

People all around you;
Laughing;
Pointing
Whispering.

Remember the other day;
When you saw me?
Surrounded by my crew?
The shadow in the background?

You just stood there.
Why didn't you laugh?
Why didn't you tell me it served me right?
Why didn't you join in?

You just stood there and watched.
When they were all laughing at me
When they were all hitting me
When they were all spreading rumors about me.

Why did you just stand there?
Don't you remember what I did to you?
Don't you remember those four years when I bullied you?
Don't you remember me destroying you?

I would just like people to know that the girl I am talking about did not commit suicide. This is a true poem and I am deeply ashamed of myself- if I could turn back the clock i would. Sorry does not seem enough
