Inside of Me (First Poem Ever)., by .xx:+.Disposable.Darling.+:xx. Subscribe to rss feed for .xx:+.Disposable.Darling.+:xx.

Inside myself,
Many miles away,
My heart is cold,
Blackened,
Dripping ice.
It’s wings are clipped.
I am crippled,
I cannot dream,
With no wings to soar,
Completely shut off,
All of me stained,
My expression vacant,
Inside I grimace in pain.
I’ve given up hope,
And everything that I have,
All for something that was out of my grasp.
Screaming for anything,
Without a trace of sound,
A feeling of death…
By darkness I am bound.
Gaping wounds gush,
The last petal falls,
In the midst of the end,
A whisper calls.
You are my whisper,
You are my call,
It is because of you,
I look up,
And cease my fall…

That's excellent for your first poem; the descriptions in this are very good, and creates an image. Nice work!
