In the Wake of it all, by ~Stephanie aka S-ROD~ Subscribe to rss feed for ~Stephanie aka S-ROD~

In the wake of a single, malice filled shot

In the wake of it all: All had begun.

The world had begun, stirred up and fought.

Their demise drawing closer, the earth turned to naught.

The death of one man, spawned the same for countless others

One thing led to another, as men slaughtered their brothers

The culprits fled, and downed their cyanide,

all merely for their nationalistic pride.

The common worker, taking up arms to smite,

while the sons of emperors ordered cities taken

So on they marched, behind them, dawn's light,

In this rich man's war, this poor man's fight.

Conflict's created, new leaders point fingers

Treaties are broken, but some barely linger

But the fires of revolution, swallowed up their chance.

Dark plots were drawn up, from even darker chambers,

Their secret societies, turning to malicious paths.

They cunningly plan, their muderous intent omniscient,

This they said amongst themselves:

'Royal Blood shall be sufficient'
