In school you see me smiling
Laughing just like everyone else
You must think I have a wonderful life
Because of the way I dress
But those are all material things
And my smile is usually a mask
Behind the scenes I'm crying
Because of the secrets I can never tell
At school you see me acting goofy
And you see me Acing tests
Behind the scenes I'm crying
And failure is all I get
My life is quite different
Then the life that you may see
Behind the scenes is pain and sorrow
Behind the scenes is me
