Silent Child, by No Child Is Innocent Once Born Subscribe to rss feed for No Child Is Innocent Once Born

To you I may seem silent
Another moody youth
But what goes on inside
You cannot know the truth.
To me there is no silence
Only lack of noise
A thousand cymbals beating
All inside my mind
I sit here in reality
Imagination restrained
Yet in my twisted wonderland
My dreams all go untamed
Every breath I take
Ricochets inside
A thousand echoes rippling,
Inside my tortured mind
I cannot escape it
There's nothing I can do
So here I sit a silent child
While in my mind I scream
