Hidden away within my mind
In a box encaged by my very soul
A secret truth you yearn to find
The one which makes us whole

The lock on the box shall not turn
Though the key you hold does fit
The answers that I know you need to learn
Wont be given if I can not admit

For I locked the truth away with intent
With reason of never turning the key
For I alone knew what that truth meant
Even when you refused to see

And that perfect key is in your hand
You look down and know its yours
Yet in turning it you change where I stand
But do you do so with just cause

For if I looked down would I see
Trapped in my stubborn fist
A beautiful and personally crafted key
Turning in a lock I could not resist

My mind is keeping you from the box
Which we both know holds my heart
If you stand in front as we disgage the locks
Then I would know where to start

You've already broken through my soul
And you already posess my mind
And I know we make each other whole
And there is no truth you can not find

But this is mine to sacrifice
And I need to see that your doing the same
Unlock your box and I shall not think twice
About giving mine for you to claim
