When I Saw You, by Austin Hoehn Subscribe to rss feed for Austin Hoehn

when I saw you lying there
so soft, still, with no look
across your face,
where there was usually a caring, loving, smile,
now in it's place,
was thin color drawn lips sealed so tight,
you where always so lively and happy,
but there you looked so colorless and cold,
right then and there it felt like the world
stopped...
and all that was moving was the tears in my eyes,
that's when I realized... that you have died,
I try to be strong, I tried just to move along,
but my heart pounded with lose and my body shook
without you in my life, and everything was filled
with strife,
but eventually I started to relax
I found love agian in family,
and friends, and in the fond memories
of you that will never end
they will always be in my heart
till death do I part.
