Changing Times, by ♥ Break The Tradition Subscribe to rss feed for <i><b> ♥ Break The Tradition

laying in the clouds
looking down on the world
watching as the time passed by
the world unfurled

children playing in the street
is nothing but a dream
no longer is the world a safe place for them to roam
never is there a child in sight it seems

once there were lovers who held together forever
now there are broken hearted fools
losing their innocence to early
nothing to gain only to lose

men and women treated with no respect
clucking tounges and shaking heads
no matter what people do
it seems peer pressure is what everyone dreads

young adults so sad and alone
drugs and drinking blur thier reality of truth
as they take one more hit
they lose a little more of their youth

people walk outside their homes
into smog infested air
complain about it all
then drive away and don't care

the world keeps spinning and times keep changing
from better to worse things seem always to get
how bad will this world get until mass destruction
until death is no longer a threat
