Love And Death, by Broken-Hearted Angel.
|
I drink my poison deep tonight
for you, my love, for you;
I shudder as I drain it down
and sip the blood you drew.
My heart for you a sinking ship
that breathes its final breath;
and yours for me flame so bright
still brighter in this death.
As darkness ends this tragedy
and takes my hand so cold;
you lay me down to rest at last
tears flowing uncontrolled.
I sink into a slumber deep
inside this darkened place;
and wonder if we'll meet again
when love and death embrace. |
