Starlight, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

Step outside in twilight
The air encapsulates a hidden thought
A magic message from time gone by
Designed to comfort those below

The constellations map the route to heaven
You can follow it with one glance
And by staring at the wonder of night
You can know that you are loved

By the millions who came before you
And the millions who came behind
Each one walked beneath the starlight
And then followed the path in the sky

And there are people who you have yet to meet
Who will have glanced to the stars above
The person with whom you'll spend your life
They're living. Beneath the stars.
