Today rain falls from the icy sky.
Today snow turns into slush as the rain grasps it in its
cold, wet hands.
I am sitting on a soot smothered rock and the rain is
hitting my face viciously.
But there is something else too; something falls from my
eyes,
It is warm as it streams down my face like an ever running
river.
Then it turns icy cold when it feels my pain,
It can no longer sooth me.
Crystals of rain seem as if they will never stop.
I don’t want them to.
They pound on my ears like a drummer in the distance.
But I can not hear him because I have fallen too far into
the deep midst of nothingness.
Today rain falls from the icy sky.
Today darkness claims all.
