can't turn back, by ♥ Break The Tradition Subscribe to rss feed for <i><b> ♥ Break The Tradition

sweet crimson gold
which my skin can no longer hold
trickles down my wrist
and onto the floor
as i close another door
another chapter to my life
the final book in all
watching in awe as the sun starts to fall
a sunset alone in the quiet light
as i watch my soul take its flight
leaving my body
on the cold dead earth
i'm finally in heaven
able to show my worth
crying parents and forgotten friends
making mistakes so this pain will end
but i was the smartest
i ended it fast
knowing it was over
so this pain would not last
and i can't help but wonder
how could i do this
because my friends and family
i will forever miss
the knife that ended
my life so sad
left gashes in my arm
mocking a new fad
the kids that cut
say their sad and alone
but still they can say
that their hearts have a home
following the fad
with no true pain
my heart had so much more to gain
and i ended it all
no idea how
but i can't turn back
no i can't turn back now
