Paralysis of Analysis, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

There comes a point with analysis
When you return to the beginning
Your thoughts under paralysis
A head around that’s spinning

You can no longer see the right
Can no longer see your path
Stop differentiating between day and night
Exposed to both care and wrath

Your love becomes your hatred
Whilst your hate becomes your love
Your logic is now wasted
As your immobilised from above

Prevented from a reason
A wanted answer which seems just
Blinded to acts of treason
As you throw away your trust

And watch the actions around you
Contradiction seems emblazed
Lies merge into what is true
Your mind is left now dazed

So when you reach the thought
Which brings you back to the start
Do as you must not as you ought
Then maybe you’ll keep your heart

There comes a point with analysis
When you no longer know what know
Your thoughts under paralysis
While the heart jumps to and fro
