its an illusion

one which people cnt see

and take a closer look
look deeper, deeper within
and tell me what do you see
i see a girl
a girl whos trapped
wants to let free
but doesnt know how
shes trapped in lies
poeple pretending around
open up yur eyes
she isnt perfect
shes far from it
shes just who she wants to be
shes in denial
cant face the facts
is it actually real or is it just a dream
take a closer look
open up yur eyes
and take a closer look
look deeper
and maybe u will find, but it will be hard!!

| You keep going on about looking deeper, but no one can look deep enough to see past what you want them to see. If you want to be seen, I mean REALLY seen, then stop pretending, you want me and Stacey to know you better, and talk to you more, but no matter what we do or say, you say we dont understand or weve 'not been there.' But we do understand, and we have been in our own hell. We are trying to be a good friend to you, really trying, but ignoring us in class and sending us coded messages doesnt help!! If you want to be seen, look inward first. We know what is inside us, now please stop with the 'look deeper' texts. If you want us as friends, you need to make the effort too!! Shutting us out doesn't push us away! xoxoxox |
