Moonbeam Promises, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Open the window of your mind,
And let the cooling breeze flow through,
Stop seeking what you will never find,
Don't let the panic inflitrate you,

And when the cracks in the foundation show,
Don't just paint over them again,
You need to find a way to heal and grow,
Instead of hiding all your pain,

So she sat on the damp grass and stared at the stars,
As the darkness of night embraced her so tight,
Her body remained but her spirit strayed far,
Whispering to the moon, "It'll be alright",

Flood all your memories with sunshine not rain,
Reminiscing on days of childhood,
Focus on the happiness and deal with the pain,
Aware of all the bad but only seeing the good,

So she wrapped her arms around herself and wiped away a
tear,
Wearily she unfolded her aching limbs,
She slipped through the shadows feeling no fear,
Cradled in her bed with blankets hugging her skin,

Dream darling dream,
And sleep through to day,
No matter how it seems,
You're going to be okay.
