Ballerina of the Water, by Sunshine24 Subscribe to rss feed for Sunshine24

Beneath the surface
The dolphin cuts
Through the water
Like a precise blade.
Then rockets to the pool’s
Surface with dexterity
And soars, sheets
Of water shoot
Across its back.
Then, as if by magic,
The dolphin flies
Into the air
Wins the admiration of its audience.
Vanishes in a split second
Once more
Under the water,
It swims with agility
As it screeches
Clicks its teeth,
The click clack of a pen.
 The dolphin barrels
 Up, up
 Once more.
