Concrete Porcelan, by Danielle Lewis Subscribe to rss feed for <font color=Danielle Lewis">

I am porcelan, a china doll so fragile,
beauty frozen inside of this pale flesh,
glossy brown eyes, rosy red cheeks,
long brown hair, no one knows the truth....

My greatest weakness, never happy with myself,
always trying to get the best, be better than what I am,
When the best is right in front of me,
my reflection in the mirror.....

I am concrete, a foundation for a home,
Stone cold exterior, protecting barrier within,
Complex with many contributing ingredients,
a mixture of talents, strengths, and weaknesses....

My greatest strength, individuality,
staying true to myself, a fingerprint,
a snowflake, no two the same,
no photocopies, everything is different.....
