I'm Sitting Here, by Phoenix_Ashes Subscribe to rss feed for Phoenix_Ashes

Im sitting here
Beside the river, and it's cold
I sit here
By the waters edge and I am cold
It's ebony black and it's moving
Two lamps reflect in the river
And when I squint my tired eyes
Two amber eyes stare back at me
Staring back at me
I feel like there's someone in the river
Staring back at me
Someone so cold
So I look from the eyes staring back at me
To the ebony river, slow moving
And it looks so, so cold
I feel cold, my fingers are tingling
My toes are quivering
My Soul is diminishing....I think
It's hard to think now
With those two amber eyes staring back at me
They stare back at me
And as the ebony black river moves slowly by
It calls me
It beckons me
And it makes me feel so cold
I feel so cold
....I'm sitting here
Beside the river, and it's cold
I sit here
By the waters edge and I am cold.
