Blind (revised edition), by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Words can be so decieving,
Seeing's not always believing,
Time's supposed to be healing,
The memories I'm left with dealing,
Feelings can be so misleading,
Some wounds just don't stop bleeding,
I'll trip if you just leave me reeling,
Don't consume me with these feelings,

If there was someway I could know,
Then maybe someday I'd let go,
Because I can't read your mind,
The answers I just cannot find,
I can't see the truth because I'm blind,

Possibilities just continue to grow,
Scars are all that I'm left with to show,
Somehow you must let me go,
Before I find more pain to sow,
When the light is getting low,
I'm left with memories that glow,
A persistent voice says 'I told you so',
So will I wait? the answer's no,

I'm left with eyes that can only see,
All the ways you're toturing me,
Because I can't read your mind,
The answers I just cannot find,
I can't see the truth because I'm blind.
