Break Them Free, by Abby Fischer Subscribe to rss feed for Abby Fischer

Your children are hurting
They’re deaf and they’re blind
They’re desperate and dying
And losing their mind

They want to see reality
But don’t remember how
They need a reason just to live
And need to find it now

Bleeding just to know they breathe
And dying so they can believe
I know there’s reason for their pain
That all they’ve lost is for your gain

How can you save these walking dead?
Or love the ones with hands stained red?
And let your holy tears be shed?

For those who run from you?

They won’t call upon your Name
But still they give you all the blame
And wonder why there’s so much pain

God, what can you do?

Start a fire, ignite a spark
That burns their lies and fears away
Pull the lost ones from the dark
And let them see the light of day

Don’t let them die
Don’t let them go
Just watch them cry and then you’ll know
That they need you and need to see
With you is where they need to be

Love them Daddy and they’ll know
That you won’t ever let them go
Lift them up and break them free
Lord, show them your reality
