The Truth Is, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

You're asking for the truth,
But is it something you can bear?
And will you listen to my words?
If you don't want to hear?

I never liked you and I'm sorry,
I never meant to cause you strife,
I was blind to my own actions,
I liked the role you played in my life,

Raw and exposed the truth is there for you,
I know that the pain must penetrate,
For it's obvious to all how much you adored me,
And I caused your heart to break,

I don't love you,
I never have,
Looking back I see my decisions,
Were bad,
But I hope that in time,
You will see,
I've taught you to tread,
Cautiously,

Some day you will move on,
Time's a healer like they say,
Even if right now you're not strong,
You will refind your strength some day,

Don't love me no please don't,
Cause I don't want you and never will,
Let go of your obession,
And keep waiting until,

Until the day,
You will see,
You'll find someone to,
Replace me,
Find a light,
To smother my black,
Find someone,
Who wants you back.
