My Place, by . QUEENIE . Subscribe to rss feed for . QUEENIE .

shame and anger
you make my heart soar
but leave my soul sore.
the blood i've slipt
the tears i've wept
the silent joy
the high you had me on
this is my heaven
but you are my hell.
who can tell where
the next low will come from
or how high
the next wave will be.
you keep me steady
hold my hand again
your warm embrace
it's just another
tear running down my face.
i need to you
to torture me
i need you
to keep me where
i belong.
sing once more
that sweet siren song
beat me blue
whatever it is
i'd still follow you,
dependable.
yup.
heaven and hell
tears and love to swell
its a feeling
i know all too well.
infatuation.
curiousity.
word.
keep my ankles in the jellyfish
but my head a float.
hold out your hand
i'll take refuge on
your pirate boat.
cannons fire
shapnel in my arm
razorblades haven't done the harm
it's you.
by that i mean
myself.
fuck you.
lend me your warm embrace
as i gaze painstakingly
upon your pretty face.
please...
keep me in my place.

xoxo
