He tells her she is beautiful and she sees the adoration in
the way his eyes come alive at the sight of her, a look
that makes her wish more than anything she could see her
soul as he does, yet she cannot bring herself to believe
his words of unconditional love, for how is it he can find
beauty in her countless imperfections, where does he see
the grace in her slender frame, what light is there in eyes
that are almost blind, she cannot bring herself to see
herself as he does for how can she love her soul if all her
life she believed that no one ever would?
