That Stranger, by LaLa Subscribe to rss feed for LaLa

I see you staring...wanting...
Wanting me from afar...
I recognize your face...
When I drove to pick up my drunk friend at an old bar...
Your face appears everywhere I go...
Or faces just like yours...
It's torture to see you everywhere...
Except at my front door.
I hate to see you coming...
You love to see me leave...
So you can watch my body glide
Graceful and serene...
Who are you stranger that tracks me down?
And eyes me like a recollection...
Who are you stranger that follows me...
And thinks that I am perfection.
You hurt me a long time ago...
And I've seemed to block you from my memory.
But now I remember because you're back in the flesh.
And black to conquer my femininity.
You've invaded my garden too many times before.
And now I'm taking a stand.
So now are you going to step down like a boy or take me like
a man...
