Phoenix in a firestorm, by Chelsey Subscribe to rss feed for Chelsey

The silence screams so loud.
Blackened hearts melt into place.
Salty wounds still burn alive,
Drink my blood to get a glimpse of my demize.

Lose thoughts in gazes skin deep,
Reality is never far behind.
Take each day little by little,
You could never run out of time.

With scabs drug under fingernails,
Each past opens more wounds.
Death prevails any light given.
Members waiting around for any news.

Though the water's warm,
We wash our hands away.
Still full of crimson stains,
They'll never bleed away.

We pick the glass,
Out of our veins.
The scar's already open,
Still bleed the same.

And as many look look down,
Upon shaking heads wiping tears,
Through the night we died in silence,
Still the same...

NOTE: Dann and I wrote this one together, it may or may not
get this. It's basically two peoples thoughts put into a
poem. Enjoy!
