Choose to Live, by Abby Fischer Subscribe to rss feed for Abby Fischer

Hardened heart as black as night
Losing hope and will to fight
Can’t see why I wake again
To simply live this hell I’m in

Used to know a love so real
Long ago I used to feel
My blackened soul was living then
Fighting, knowing I would win

What is it that happened to me?
What is it that happened to me?

Open my eyes again I plead
Your truth is what I really need
Give me wings to soar the sky
Can you still teach me how to fly?

How did I become so blind?
How did I become so blind?

Awake o sleeper, now arise
Break the bonds of evil’s lies
You can’t believe the words you hear
Or simply fall prey to your fear

Created for more than all you know
I’m never going to let you go
I call your name, for you are mine
I formed you by my own design

What is this waking feeling?
What is this waking feeling?

Choose to live, refuse to die
Spread your wings and soar the sky
Breathe so deep and take it in
Let darkness know that it won’t win

You’re alive for more than all you see
You haven’t tasted of reality
Life is a choice, but doesn’t come free
Its time for you to choose to be

I choose life
I choose life

this flows very easy...and it is very easy to read. i also can feel the pain, your descriptions are simple, yet self-explanatory. very spiritual.
