All the Flowers in the Field of Hours, by Loneliness is condescending Subscribe to rss feed for Loneliness is condescending

Wakening up in this senseless daze
Hoping this is all a phase
Spinning circles in the dark
In this long forgotten park
Seeking company with that ageless star

Lying bloodied on the ground
Hoping someone will come around
Will you be the one to save me?
Or will you turn around pretending not to see
Forced to save myself
Silently I cry, you return me to my shelf

No one's noticing the changes
Cries for help filling these pages
Over looked by blue eyes
Times are ending, our dieing lives
Hollow feeling deep inside
Where do I confide

These hidden secrets wish to out pour
From my soul tried and poor
My lips sewed shut
Awaiting the final cut
To free them from the silence
Pleading to be saved from violence

The darkness that ensued
After our pointless feud
Foreign light invading my darkness
Give me back my hopelessness
That darkness was my light
Filling me with fight

Now your standing beside
Braving the odds to fight for my side
I scream your missing the point
Here I go to disappoint
CANT YOU SEE YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DID THIS TO ME
Or are you that blind that you cant see

How could you over look the blood on your hands?
Bodies shipped across the lands
Rallying the people behind you
I see the girl you brought here too
From my place of silence I try to warn
That your face is a mask your are just a shell sir

This is a great poem, it makes me think of my ex 'cant you see you're the one who did this to me' I love that line...

the flow seems to be broken in a few spots and then it moves again and then it stops but the idea is really good and much of the word choice i must applaud, why i skipped over this in times past i have no understanding but it is one of your best and id hug it if i had it on paper
