The Unrequited Love, by blackflamingo Subscribe to rss feed for blackflamingo

The emptiness in her eyes
Makes me want to cry.
But I hold it all in,
She should never have to see my sin.

I yearn to be with her day and night
Parting from her forces me away from the light,
As I move further into the darkness,
It increases the distance between me and happiness.

People say ‘what is love without obsession’.
But love is nothing without reciprocation.
I try so hard to remove her from my mind
When with her, to the rest of the world I am blind.

And though I know my weak heart shall see this through,
I can do nought but to hope that these loves will be few,
And that the next will be the last,
Returning to me my happiness.
