"It", by The Space Between
The Space Between">
|
On that day, I lost it
And then I fell to the floor
I got back up and dusted me off
But then I fell once more
I looked around and searched for it
But do my eyes deceive?
Where did it go, Where could it be?
That it was gone, I couldn't believe
I cease to exist, as the days sail on
Yet still I long to try
To pick myself up off that ground
And stop the tears I continuely cry
No simple task, no one to help
The thing I lost, you see
Wasn't worth a cent to anyone else
The "it" I lost... was me.
