**She Closes Her Eyes to Stop the Tears**
She breaths in
The pain is sharp
She's been stabbed
A sad song plays from the harp
The makeup runs down
Her expressionless face
All emotion is gone
She stares into space
Theres a red pool around her
Suddenly she gasps
Is this how it ends?
Why couldnt it last
More tears run
Out of her empty eyes
Her chin falls
The little girl dies
**And She Screams...**
Look at those eyes
So sad and lost
They scream for help
But whats the cause
Shes hurting
But how and why
Shes just sitting there
She doesnt even cry
Her face wont tell the story
And her lips are to numb
What went wrong
How could she be so dumb
She gave everything away
And got nothing in return
What was she thinking
Hadn't she learned?
Only protect yourself
Dont help anyone out
Then you can be free
Smile scream and shout
With that she stood up
Knowing what had to be done
Slowly stepping back from him
Her walk turned into a run
**Her Mascara Runs**
With eyes closed
Tears stream down her face
Her body feels numb
She walks at a slow steady pace
Her mascara has run
Down her pale cheeks
Creeping down to her chin
In dark black streaks
Her steps are getting slower
She cant go on for much more
Her feet feel heavy
If she could just make it to the door
She's so close
Yet so far away
Times running out
Her last step makes her sway
Shes losing her balance
She falls to the floor
This is just to much
She cant take it any more
What is she holding on to
And more importantly why?
Her face screams of pain
And all she can do is cry
Its always going to be like this
She'll always be sad
But she's still fighting
For all that she had
She wont give up
she tells herself to stay strong
But thats because she cant see
That what she wants is wrong
It always was
From the very start
She was just blinded
By thinking with her heart
**hopeful dreams**
She knows what its like
to be lonely and sad
why you ask
because those are feelings she had
No one was there for her
she cried herself to sleep
never fitting in
she was the black sheep
But then something happened
at her he smiled
and her expressionless face
sparkled for awhile
He saw something
in this awkward girl
looking at her
made his stomach twirl
She was special
why didnt anyone else see
she just needed a friend
and then she'd fit in wonderfully
And that's what he was
her knight in shining armor
saving her life
making sure nothing could harm her
But what was this she heard
a slight beeping sound
startled she jumped
fell from her bed to the ground
Then it hit her
it was all a dream
who was she kidding
life's exactly what it seems...
