Your Breath, by Sandwich Massacre
|
To be in the absence of your content breath
I sink with ease -deep within a weeping lake
My hands filled with the heaviness of empty
I sink with ease -it weighs me
The echo of nothingness undulates within me
Pressing on my outsides -I feel all of my insides
In the absence of your warmth, I am warmed by
The pressing on my outsides -embrace
Barren suspension where I feel nothing below
My eyes grow useless as I sink -the light dims
My thoughts seep into the forever darkness
My eyes useless -they close
Dreams scatter between the flickering moonlight
As barren as this place -my depths are hollowed
My heart rests from the ache of reaching for you
As barren as this place- hibernate
I am undisturbed until you move these waters
Lifted to the surface- my hand floats in yours
Filled with you and freed from dim heaviness
Lifted to the surface -your breath
