Pieces of Paradise, by Loneliness is condescending
|
Thinking of the time we spent together
Hurting all the ones close to me
Inside I'm falling apart
Desperately searching for someone to open my bleeding soul
I'm lost inside this deep despair
Soft whispers brush across my cheek
They try and carry off my tears
Hanging on to the hearts of others
Eclipsing the sun with pain
Pleasure felt so deep
Leading from this place of honor
Appealing to the eyes of men
Conceit is heavy on my heart
Entangling my with the souls of others
Wishing to turn back
Harmonizing with the sound of death
Clasping to that finial picture of your sweet face
Rendering me useless, a tear escapes my eye
Shrouded with your scent
I will never let go of this feeling
Wishing that I could take your place
Inside I'm already dead
Lucid dreams steal away hope of better days
Lost without a prayer
It's time to sober up and live
