Dawn Broke are you weeping, by Loneliness is condescending

Since when did selling out become our number one objective?
To obtain the masses cheers
With rebel upon our lips we sign away another meaning
To an industry where sex only sells
Were lacking substance to hold our ground
Seething in our own insecurities
Where shallow hearts do bleed the lies
We lead along the sheep
To sleep beside the starving wolves
With the blood dripping from their jaws
We convince our minds there’s nothing left of obscurity
Lay our souls down to their troubled dreams
Another shell of the hopeless sellouts
We are all strangers of another life

lost, the lonely dead-- I'm not sure that you know what "jowls" means... It's not jaws, it's skin that hangs from your cheeks and lower jaw when you get really old... |

i find it very sad that you chose to make a comment to me and never say anything whatsoever about this dear soul's work and how absolutely beautiful it is........jowls can also imply the hanging skin around a wolf or dog-like creature's mouth, and the previous line put that image in my mind with the starving wolves, i was simply commenting on what i saw when i read this artist's work, something you might take note of and put to use yourself |
