The Onion (rough), by . QUEENIE .
|
ROUGH COPY
grows in the dark
until ripped from
the nuturing soil
right before blossoming.
in the light
wash away the dirt.
slip off teh dry flakes
peel back the outer layers.
Cut out the rotted bits
polish the sweet inner layers.
the change causes tears
in those who prepare
the onion for the world.
... conceptual. needs work.
