beating at my skin
   breaking down my walls
screaming so loud
   no one hearing my calls

words of hatred
   filling up my heart
my body frozen
   preventing my fresh start

held against my will
   there's no way to get free
so many years of life
   there's nothing new to me

the person i onced called mom
   is no longer the person here
this new person i gaze upon
   is no longer my new fear

i have seen her type before
   as i glanced upon my face
i have seen the good inside
   as it vanished without a trace

i have seen the evil within
   as it slowly takes control
i have seen the last of me
   as it has taken my only soul

wandering aimlessly through the streets
   trying to prevent another like me
helping those in need
   trying to keep their souls free...
      free from the soul collector...free from me.
