death, by tangerine.kidd

March 11 2005
death surrounds us all
and claims us as we fall
trying our best to run
and keep up with the sun
no matter how hard we try
there's nothing left but die
lurking in our shadow
waiting for us to wallow
trying to catch our fall
before death claims us all. |

I like this poem cause it speaks of that which we all have in the back of our minds (well not all of us! i know)I really liked it. |

How do you change all of the colors and text types in your poems? It really adds a sweet effect. |
