Where Magic is Made..., by thndrhwk

There is a beat,
And a half of a chance,
Don't step too soon
Or the moment won't last.
If the timing is right
Then the curse might just pass
Into the instants
Of memories past,
And the lights fill the darkness
Drums echo silence
As fantasies spin
Through the pulse of the crowd
It's a pattern of motion
Unspoken advance
All ultraviolet and shadow...
Step into the night
And the magic will fade
But the music still throbs
In the wonder it made
And if we surrender
Our fears to the dance
The galaxies shine on our arms.
So the spell is still cast
As the silence invades
But there's drums in our blood
And dreams yet to fade
So step, take your chance
Let the past dissipate
In the world of the dance
Where magic is made... |
