Already Dead

By bedazzled

I'm watching as the clouds roll in, Wondering when healing begins, Cos I'm finding it more than trying, Spending conciousness wishing I was dying, And still the birds will sing, And the sun warms everything, Everything but me... I'm wondering how I can escape, From this terrifying place, Cos I'm a discovering a depth so deep, That I'm crying in my sleep, And still the sky holds in place, The wind bends the trees with grace, I am bending... Memories and helplessness, Outside shines a day of bliss, Intelligence is dangerous, Please go away life, Go away, I'm watching as the clouds roll in, With hope waiting in a bin, Cos I've got lots of darkness instead, I think that I'm already dead.
